Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2

This is a 1966 Series 1 E-Type 4.2 roadster, a closed-headlamp car with matching numbers. It was delivered new to Jaguar Cars in New York in December 1966 and comes with a Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirming its identity.

It was first registered in the UK around 2012 and converted to right-hand drive soon afterwards. The colour scheme is triple black: black paint, black leather and a black mohair hood. The page says it is believed to be genuine low mileage, with under 5,000 miles covered in the last ten years, and the odometer shows 48,000.

Changes from standard include an SS sports exhaust with a six-branch manifold, Zeus Engineering front brakes, electronic ignition, an aluminium radiator and uprated cooling. It was sold by E-Type UK to its current owner, who has kept it for over a decade.
