This is a 1966 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 roadster with the early closed headlamps and matching numbers. It was delivered new to Jaguar Cars in New York in December 1966 and came to the UK around 2012. A Jaguar Heritage Certificate accompanies the car.
It is finished in triple black: black paint, black leather and a black mohair hood. Soon after arriving in the UK it was converted to right-hand drive. E-Type UK, the marque specialist, later sold it to the current owner, who has kept it for about a decade.
The odometer reads 48,000 miles, and the dealer believes fewer than 5,000 of those were covered in the last ten years. Upgrades include an SS sports exhaust with a six-branch manifold, Zeus Engineering front brakes, electronic ignition and an aluminium radiator. The page also mentions uprated cooling.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory engine figures (265 bhp gross, 4235cc XK six); weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the widely quoted figures come from period road tests, not confirmed factory data).
£89,995 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
