Listed today at Godins, London. Last checked today.
An early 3.8-litre Series 1 E-Type coupé, the version many enthusiasts consider the purest of the line. This UK-supplied car was delivered new through Henleys of London, with a dispatch date of 20 July 1964. Its Jaguar Heritage Certificate records original Opalescent Dark Blue paint with a light blue interior.
The body and engine were restored in the early 2000s. The car was repainted red with a beige retrim, and the page states it has covered only around 6,000 miles since. The odometer reads 5,450 miles. The dealer's title says 1963, but the text and the Heritage Certificate point to 1964.
The history file is large. It holds bills and invoices, engine rebuild receipts, photographs of the bodywork restoration and the Heritage Certificate. There have been six keepers from new. The most recent owner has kept it in a private collection for about ten years, used occasionally and stored dry.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's published 3.8 XK engine specification (265 bhp gross at 5,500 rpm, 3,781 cc). The widely quoted 150 mph and 0-60 times come from period magazine road tests, not Jaguar, so they are left out.).
£89,995 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
