This Series 1 4.2 E-Type was built in December 1964 and delivered new to Jaguar's New York dealer in January 1965. It came back from the United States in the 1990s, when it was restored and converted to right-hand drive. It became a familiar car on the Jaguar show circuit and collected several Best in Show awards.
The current owner bought it in 2012. A mechanical refresh followed in 2013 and a bodywork refresh in 2019. The car is described as matching numbers and has been prepared by E-Type UK.
It has been upgraded to make it easier to use. Changes include a T5 five-speed gearbox, with the original four-speed supplied, Coopercraft brakes, an SS sports exhaust, an uprated cooling fan, electronic ignition, halogen headlights and LED instrument lights. The page gives no mileage or registration.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's 1964 published spec for the 4.2 XK engine: 4235cc, 265 bhp (gross). The top speed, 0-60 and weight figures you often see come from magazine road tests, not Jaguar, so they are left null.).
£92,500 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
