A late Series 1 3.8 fixed-head coupe with an unusual story. It was built as a left-hand-drive car and delivered new to Emil Frey in Zurich, Jaguar's Swiss distributor. It later went to the USA before reaching the UK in 1996.
A restoration completed by 2016 included full bodywork and mechanical work, a conversion to right-hand drive and several upgrades. The car is described as matching numbers. The engine was rebuilt in 2011 and has covered under 3,000 miles since. A five-speed Getrag gearbox replaces the original, and there is a Kenlowe cooling fan, chrome wire wheels and a modern DAB radio.
It is finished in Opalescent Dark Blue with grey upholstery. The bodywork was restored by Doncaster Jaguar specialists, and the car has recently been maintained by E-Type UK in Kent. A large restoration file comes with it. The page gives no mileage.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory specification (265 bhp gross at 5,500 rpm, 3,781 cc XK straight-six); the well-known 150 mph and 0-60 times come from period magazine tests, not the factory, so they are left null.).
£104,500 since it was listed on 7 November 2026. No changes yet.
