Listed today at Classic Car Shop, Whaley Bridge. Last checked today.
An early 3.8-litre E-Type fixed-head coupe from 1962, the year after the model's launch, finished in Indigo Blue over beige leather with wire wheels. It is right-hand drive and described as matching numbers, with Heritage certification.
The main change from original is an uprated five-speed Getrag gearbox, which makes long journeys easier. The original gearbox is said to be kept with the car. The last owner kept it from 1988, and it later received a show-winning restoration by a leading specialist.
The page gives no mileage (the listed 0 is not an odometer reading) and no price, which is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory spec for the 3.8 XK engine: 265 bhp (gross) and 3781 cc. The famous 150 mph and 0-60 figures came from magazine road tests, so they are omitted, and no definitive factory kerb weight was confirmed.).
