This is an early Series One E-Type 3.8 fixed head coupe from 1962, the year after the model's launch. The 3.8-litre straight-six and manual gearbox are the combination that defined the original E-Type.
It was first delivered to Jaguar Cars in New York, so it began life as a US-market car. The most recent owner repatriated it to the UK in 2012, some 14 years ago.
It is finished in Opalescent dark blue, with a completely new burgundy hide interior. The listing gives no odometer reading, registration or ownership count.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory spec for the 3.8 XK engine: 265 bhp (gross) and 3781 cc. The famous 150 mph and 0-60 figures came from magazine road tests, so they are omitted, and no definitive factory kerb weight was confirmed.).
£65,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
