This is one of the Lightweight E-types that Jaguar Classic completed from the original 1960s blueprints, using the same aluminium body construction and an alloy-block 3.8-litre straight-six with triple Weber carburettors and a wide-angle head. The page describes it as one of seven factory-built continuations. It began as the promotional car for Jaguar Classic, used as a North American press car and shown at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion, before being rebuilt to new condition and sold to a first owner who covered about 700 miles.
DK Engineering acquired it in 2021 and had ADP Classic Racing prepare it for competition over six months, at a stated cost of £160,000. The engine was rebuilt to full Lightweight specification with an alloy block, wide-angle head and dry sump, and the car was brought down to the weight limit set by the GTSCC. It has dispensation to run in Peter Auto and GTSCC events without penalty, and its FIA papers are listed as valid until November 2025.
It is now registered for UK road use with a period-correct 1963 V5C, and is right-hand drive with a manual gearbox. The odometer reads 200 miles, and spare original parts removed during the race preparation are included. Price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar Heritage records for the 1963 works competition Lightweight (3.8-litre aluminium-block XK six, 12 of a planned 18 built). These were factory race cars and no catalogue performance or weight figures were published, so those are left null.).
