Aston Martin DB6 Saloon

This 1967 Aston Martin DB6 is a manual car in Ming Blue with a cream leather interior. Its engine has been rebuilt by Aston Martin specialists RS Williams to 4.2-litre Vantage specification, with Cosworth pistons and liners and a cylinder head fitted with new valves and guides for modern fuel. A stainless steel manifold and exhaust system are also fitted.

The car was supplied through Braeside Motors in Blythe Bridge to a Staffordshire owner, who kept it for more than 40 years and had it restored by marque specialists along the way. The latest work was a shell-off, ground-up restoration finished in 2016, after 18 years off the road and eight years of work. The page puts the cost at over £100,000.

The seats have been retrimmed in top-grade hides on the later, taller frames for better support. The car was featured in the first edition of Aston Martin Driver magazine and comes with a documented history, including the original 1973 Braeside Motors invoice. The odometer reads 27,000 miles.
