Aston Martin DB6 Mk1

This DB6 is an early Mk1, chassis DB6/3237/R, finished in factory Silver Birch Metallic over Navy leather. It left the factory with a Borg-Warner automatic gearbox, power steering and a heated rear screen. It was supplied through H.H. Owen to Arthur Woollacott Ltd. The car is described as matching numbers.

The most significant change came during a chassis restoration in Germany in 1995–1996. The car was converted to the ZF five-speed manual gearbox, which is the more sought-after choice for the DB6. Its history runs through the UK, Switzerland and Germany, and it returned to the UK in 2004. Further restoration followed in 2006–2007. In 2016–2017 the cylinder heads were refurbished, with new valves and guides, and the timing chains, tensioner and guides were replaced.

The page gives 81,000 miles on the odometer, but the text explains this is a combined figure. The current odometer shows 4,846 miles, after an odometer change at 75,994 miles. About 750 miles have been covered since the 2016–2017 work. The car was last serviced in July 2025, including new brake pipes. It has chrome wire wheels, electric windows and a Becker Europa radio.
