About this car

This is a Volkswagen Polo in name and silhouette only. Underneath it is a purpose-built hillclimb and rally prototype on a Dytko proto shell, with WRC-style front and rear panels, a vented bonnet and a genuine WRC carbon-fibre rear wing.

Power comes from a 2.3-litre Mitsubishi Evo stroker engine tuned by Field Motorsport, with a Garrett GTX turbo and a GEMS ECU. The page quotes around 700 PS on race fuel. It drives all four wheels through a Samsonas five-speed sequential gearbox with pneumatic paddle shift, Ralliart-plated differentials and Evo 9 hubs and driveshafts. Alcon brakes and Proflex suspension are fitted.

The dealer lists £132,430 of modifications, and the car has recently been rewired by Autosport Electronics. It has an MSA hillclimb logbook valid until July 2030 and five previous keepers. Mileage is unrecorded. A health check and power run are due before sale.
