The TR5 was only built for around 13 months across 1967 and 1968, and it is the car that bridged the four-cylinder TR4 and the TR6. Just 2,947 were made, with 1,161 of those going to the UK as right-hand-drive cars. It keeps the TR4's body but adds a 2.5-litre straight-six with Lucas mechanical fuel injection, rated at about 150 bhp.
This 1968 car is finished in blue with a beige leather interior and has covered 78,518 miles. It has a manual gearbox with overdrive and has had five previous owners.
The page cites a documented restoration, a new roof and an interior retrim, backed by a file of paperwork. It is offered with a new MOT, a major service and a general check-over. The car is currently reserved.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Standard-Triumph factory figures: 2498cc fuel-injected (Lucas PI) straight-six, 150 bhp gross at 5,500 rpm. Weight, top speed and 0-60 not given because the widely quoted figures come from period road tests, not the factory.).
