This 1962 Triumph TR4, registered 883 GOH, is a matching-numbers UK home-market car that left the factory in British Racing Green with red trim, overdrive, wire wheels and a Surrey hard top. After about 30 years in storage it was rebuilt between 1998 and 2001 for historic road rallying, keeping its original panels apart from two new sills.
The rally specification is extensive: a 2188cc engine on twin Webers, uprated gearbox with overdrive, half cage, Revington rally seats and harnesses, Quaife limited-slip differential, twin brake system with adjustable bias, and Revington roll bars and suspension. It has FIA and MSA papers and a competition record that includes the 2003 Circuit of Wales and the 2014 Rally of the Tests.
Recently it completed the 2026 Generations Rally, for which the dealer fitted new period-style five-point harnesses, serviced the ignition and brakes, tuned the carburettors and refreshed the underbody protection. It is described as a used, well-kept rally car rather than a concours example. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Standard-Triumph published spec (2138cc four, 100 bhp gross at 4,600 rpm). Weight and performance figures are left out because they come from period road tests, not the factory.).
