About this car

This 1959 Triumph TR3A is a UK-market car, built new as right-hand drive, which makes it one of the few surviving original RHD examples. The TR3A was the final development of the TR2 line, and is known for its tough engine and traditional, rorty character. This car is fitted with overdrive.

It was restored around 2005 by Triumph specialists, and the page says it has had continued maintenance since. The engine and gearbox have been rebuilt, and the cylinder head has been converted to run on unleaded fuel.

The history file includes a Heritage certificate and photographs of the restoration. The dealer describes it as driving tightly and being sorted enough for regular use. It was supplied serviced and inspected with a 12-month warranty, and is now sold.
