First registered on 21 March 1963, this Vitesse 6 1600 is an early factory convertible, and the page suggests it may be the earliest survivor. Its history is covered in a four-page feature in Triumph World magazine.
It spent its first 35 years with one family in Scotland. In 2005 it passed to Chic Doig, a Triumph restorer in Fife, with about 46,000 miles recorded, and joined his personal collection in very original condition. It now shows 48,900 miles.
The 1596cc straight-six has twin Solex carburettors and drives through a four-speed gearbox. The exterior was repainted in 2014 and the panels still present well. The interior is described as original and pleasingly aged. A photographic record of the paintwork is included.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Standard-Triumph period specification (70 bhp gross, 1596cc twin-carb six); weight and performance figures from period road tests, not factory-published, so they're left null).
