This is a 1961 E-Type built to Lightweight specification, the car Jaguar's factory produced in a run of just 12 in 1963 to take on Ferrari in GT racing. The page notes that replicas far outnumber the originals, and this one is presented as a lightweight-spec competition car rebuilt by Gary Pearson.
It is finished in British Racing Green with a black interior. Power comes from JD Classics' 'High-Torque' alloy-block 3.8-litre engine, with a wide-angle 35/40-degree head and triple Weber carburettors, driving through a four-speed all-synchromesh race gearbox.
The car has been restored to current FIA competition specification, with an alloy monocoque and body panels, peg-drive wheels, a fire system and JD Sport single adjustable dampers. It was used by Jaguar Heritage Historic Racing in selected races in 2012 and won at the Algarve Classic Festival at Portimão in 2016. Price and mileage are not yet published, as the car is listed as coming soon.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the engine layout is given (3.8 straight-six, 3781cc). No 1961 Lightweight existed: the factory competition cars were built in 1963 (18 planned, 12 completed). No reliable factory performance or weight figures were published, so those fields are null.).
