This is chassis number 001, the only factory-built lightweight Sagaris RT (Road and Track). It began life as the prototype for a planned Tuscan Challenge-style one-make race series that never went ahead, so it was built with track use in mind.
The changes over a standard Sagaris are substantial. They include a vinylester body said to save 90kg, lightweight wheels, a Hydratrack differential, Sparco seats, a harness bar with harnesses, a fire extinguisher system, a flocked dash and a fully lined engine bay. The 4.0-litre dry-sumped straight-six with individual throttle bodies produces 406 bhp and drives the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
It shows 48,000 miles and is described as unchanged from how it left the factory. It has had one previous owner, listed as the Bristol Avenue TVR factory, and was driven by then-TVR owner Nikolai Smolenski. The history file includes photographs from the build date and a Guinness World Record set with stunt driver Terry Grant. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car ('RT' isn't a Sagaris variant I recognise, and 2004 is before production began (around 2005). Only the layout shared by all Sagaris cars is given (4.0 Speed Six, front-engined, RWD, Blackpool-built). Performance figures are null because they can't be confirmed for this variant.).
