The Chimaera 500 was the most potent version of TVR's front-engined V8 roadster. The page says only about 500 of the roughly 6,000 Chimaeras built were to this specification. It is recognisable by its purple rocker covers and Griffith-style wheels.
The 5.0-litre alloy V8 is quoted at 340 bhp and 320 lb ft. TVR claimed 0–60 mph in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 175 mph. This 1997 car has a five-speed manual gearbox and is finished in burgundy metallic over a grey interior.
It shows 57,000 miles and has a lot of service history. The selling dealer first sold it and has maintained it for the last 17 years. It is supplied fully serviced with 12 months' MOT.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (TVR's published figures for the 5.0 Rover-based V8 Chimaera 500. Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the claimed TVR figures aren't confirmed.).
