This 1924 Rolls-Royce 20hp has an unusual start. Build sheets show chassis GRK6 was sent as a rolling chassis to Rolls-Royce of America in Springfield, Massachusetts, in July 1924. It was meant to take Brewster Brougham Town Car coachwork, but plans changed and it was fitted with the Doctor's Coupe body it still wears.
The engine was comprehensively rebuilt in 2017 by A & S Engineering of Alton, specialists in the smaller Rolls-Royce and Bentley engines. Invoices and photographs are in the history file, and the car is said to have covered fewer than 1,000 miles since. The dealer has recently had it recommissioned by Kenworthy & Co.
It is painted cream over blue, with blue upholstery for the front seats and the dickey seat. The blue mohair hood was replaced recently. As an early 20hp it has a three-speed centre-change gearbox. It is UK registered as DS9474.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine figures are Rolls-Royce chassis specs (3,127 cc OHV straight-six). Rolls-Royce didn't publish power or performance figures, and the coachbuilt Doctor's Coupé body means there's no factory kerb weight.).
£68,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
