This 1927 Rolls-Royce Twenty carries a doctor's coupé body with a dickey seat, built by Howes & Sons of Norwich. The page describes the proportions as particularly pleasing. The car is chassis GAJ31, registered TO6226 in the UK and also on French papers, with EEC taxes paid.
It was bought by the previous-but-one owner in 1987. Marque specialist Sargeant's of Goudhurst then carried out an extensive refurbishment around 1988/89, to make the car suitable for long-distance touring and rallying. It has since done a fair amount of that. It has visited New Zealand twice, in the 1990s and in 2006, on Vintage Car Club events. It has also entered the Monte Carlo Challenge (1995), the Ghost Club Scandinavian Tour (1998) and the Grosse Alpensart/Steigenberger Cup in Austria (1989).
The car is finished in maroon and black with a very original black leather interior, and is described as in generally excellent condition. The dealer sold it to its current French owner about 16 years ago. It is due back with the dealer shortly, for a full service and photography. No mileage is stated. The page shows the price as accepted.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rolls-Royce 20hp chassis specification (3,127 cc straight-six); Rolls-Royce published no power, and weight depends on the separate coachbuilt body, so other figures are null).
£52,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
