Rolls-Royce 20hp Connaught 3/4 Cabriolet

This is a 1925 Rolls-Royce 20hp, the company's smaller post-war model, carrying three-quarter cabriolet coachwork by Connaught. In 1932 it went back to Connaught to be brought up to date for the 1930s. It received a 20/25 radiator, and the bonnet was widened and lengthened by a few inches. A period photograph in the history file shows the original bonnet, with the rest of the body much as it is now.

The car has an overdrive, switched from the dashboard, which the dealer says lets it cruise at 50mph on the flat. New king pins have been fitted, and the steering is described as light and direct. A rear hatch lifts to reveal a dickey seat, so four can be carried. The maroon double duck hood is new and folds fully into the body. The interior is maroon leather.

Recent work includes Blockley tyres all round with an unused spare, and refinished wire wheels. The paint is described as presentable rather than perfect. An oil change was carried out less than 500 miles ago. The car is UK-registered as YM3341. The page gives the chassis number as both GPK72 and GPK22, and shows no mileage.
