The 20/25 was Rolls-Royce's smaller-engined car of the late 1920s and early 30s, aimed at owners who wanted to drive themselves. This example carries a Weymann-type sports saloon body by HJM, finished in burgundy with black mudguards, a grey leather interior and burr walnut trim. It is right-hand drive with a manual gearbox and a 3,699cc engine.
It was first registered on 27 January 1930 to Sir Walter Hargreaves of East Grinstead, Sussex. The car stayed in the UK until the 1970s, when its third owner exported it to the USA. It returned in 2004, and the most recent owner kept it for 16 years.
After three years in storage the car has been recommissioned by the dealer. The work included new tyres, brakes, suspension work, chassis detailing and a major service.
