This 1933 Rolls-Royce 20/25 carries a formal Hooper limousine body of the type first shown at Olympia in 1932. It seats six, including two occasional seats, and has a wind-up division, an opening windscreen and a tool drawer under the driver's bench. Chassis GSY48 was ordered new by the Earl of Strafford and kept at Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire. His family kept it until 1999.
The car is largely original. The front is trimmed in black leather and the rear in Bedford cord, with the blinds, rugs, hat rack and door pulls all as fitted by Hooper. It retains its Ace wheel discs and has a rear luggage rack. The paint is Hooper dark Prussian blue over black wings, redone in the 1980s during recommissioning and now lightly patinated. The engine was rebuilt in the same period after a long lay-up that followed the first owner's death in 1951, when the car had covered 82,000 miles. It now shows 86,854 miles.
Recent work includes replacing the Autovac with a low-pressure electric fuel pump, a modern starter contact, a refurbished dynamo with a regulator, and a new battery. The magneto has been removed but is included, along with a new cylinder head gasket, spares and a removable trunk. The car is registered in both the UK and France. The dealer's page marks the price as accepted.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rolls-Royce 20/25 chassis specification (3,699 cc OHV straight-six, built in Derby). Rolls-Royce never published power figures and only supplied the chassis. Hooper built the coachwork, so there is no factory weight or performance data for this body.).
£38,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
