Porsche 356 Pre-A Super Speedster

Chassis 80202 is a Pre-A Speedster with the more powerful 1500 Super engine, rated at 70hp against 54hp for the standard 1500. Only 150 of the 1,234 Pre-A Speedsters were specified this way, and this car was the second built on the dedicated Speedster chassis, after the first 200 that used modified Cabriolet structures in late 1954.

It has been restored by marque specialists in recent years, including a rebuilt period-correct 1500 unit brought to Super specification. The car is finished in black with brown leather and has been freshly prepared by Porsche specialists Roger Bray, who describe it as mechanically sorted and eligible for events such as the Mille Miglia.

Documentation includes the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a copy of the Kardex, a dedicated history file and the rare side windows. Price is on application.
