Mercedes-Benz 300 SL

This R107 300 SL was built on 28 August 1989, making it one of the last of its line. It has covered 28,000 miles and is finished in Astral Silver over blue leather, with a blue soft top and the factory Astral Silver hardtop.

Options include heated seats, rear seats, cruise control and the extra outside-temperature gauge. The dealer reports no visible repaint, only a few small stone chips, and describes the leather and the soft top's window logos as well preserved. The hardtop is stored on a stand with its cover.

In January 2023 John Haynes carried out a suspension overhaul, including mounts, bushes and water pump, with more than £12,000 spent and bills on file. The car comes with its book pack, spare keys including the master key, a stamped service book and the manual. It spent time in Glasgow as part of a collection before moving to the south coast, and has had five previous owners.
