This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is a late-production R107, finished in Almandine Red Metallic (code 512) over grey leather. It has the less common factory rear seat option, a matching hardtop and a black soft top, which has been replaced with a new one. Cruise control and an outside temperature gauge are fitted, and the audio has been upgraded.

The car was supplied new by J R Neyland Motors in Swansea and has a run of service stamps. A new speedometer head was fitted in March 1991. The speedometer now reads about 53,000 miles, but 22,168 miles must be added for the period before the old unit failed. That puts the true mileage at roughly 75,000.

The seller has carried out work on fluids, filters, brakes, suspension and the cruise control. The bulkhead has been checked and repaired by another specialist.
