Only 430 Khamsins were built over eight years, and just 71 of them were right-hand drive. This 1979 example, registered AHX 17T, is one of those, a Gandini-styled 2+2 with a 4.9-litre quad-cam V8 rated at 316 bhp and a five-speed ZF manual gearbox.
It has a Maserati Classiche certificate and a history file going back to the 1980s, including invoices for work by marque specialist Bill McGrath. The car was restored from 2011, finished two years later and featured in Classic Car magazine in November 2013. A bare-metal respray and cavity waxing left it in Rosso Fuoco over a cream leather interior. Since then it has had a top-end engine rebuild.
The dealer lists it as under evaluation, with no price or mileage given, and says it will be prepared with an MOT and a service.
