Chassis 2033 is a 1952 Maserati A6GCM, the Formula 2 single-seater that preceded the 250F. It is one of only two surviving cars still in original F2 form; many others were later converted to 250F specification.
The car's period history is well documented. It made its European debut at the 1952 Monza Grand Prix driven by works driver Froilan Gonzalez, then ran for Brazil's Escuderia Bandeirantes through 1952 and 1953, including the Italian, British and German Grands Prix. It went to Argentina in the 1970s, returned to Europe in the 1980s and passed through several well-known collectors.
It was restored in the 1990s by Paul Lanzante and later raced in the Ferrari and Maserati Historic Challenge from 2003 to 2007. The present owner has had it for more than 20 years and has entered every Monaco Historique since 2004, as well as the Goodwood Revival from 2004 to 2012. It comes with a history file that includes Maserati Classiche certification. It is tax paid in Europe and offered on Bond. The page gives no price.
