The Ghibli 4.9 SS was the fastest and most expensive version of Maserati's Giugiaro-styled V8 grand tourer. This left-hand-drive 1970 car has the 4,930cc engine, a five-speed ZF manual gearbox and magnesium wheels, and the dealer says it was priced above the Miura and Daytona when new.
It was delivered new to Giuseppe Gambino through Autonautica of Palermo, Italy. It has since had a rotisserie restoration by Alfaholics, with photographs of the work on file. It is finished in its original combination of Blu Sera over Senape (tan) leather.
Factory build records are on file. The page gives no mileage, registration or owner count, and the price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Maserati period factory claims: 335 PS (≈330 bhp) 4,930 cc V8, 280 km/h top speed; kerb weight and 0-60 withheld because no reliable factory figure was found).
