Listed today at Oselli, Great Horwood. Last checked today.
The first-generation Ghibli is one of the great Giugiaro designs: a low, shark-nosed fastback with pop-up headlamps, shown as a concept in Turin in 1966 and built as a 2+2 coupe. This 1970 car has the 4.7-litre quad-cam dry-sump V8 and a five-speed ZF manual gearbox, in a rated 306 bhp form. It is finished in Mid Blue with Magnolia leather.
It was first registered in 1970 and has had one previous UK owner. The history file is large, with invoices from the selling dealer going back to 2006 and earlier. Work recorded includes a full repaint and mechanical repairs including an engine rebuild.
The car then spent time in a private collection, covering only around 4,000 miles in the last 20 years. Old MOT certificates in the file support that figure. The price is not published.
