The LP400 'Periscopio' is the earliest and purest Countach, with Gandini's wedge unburdened by the wings and arches of later cars. This one, chassis 1120168, is believed to be one of only 19 built in right-hand drive and the first of two LP400s allocated to South Africa, where it was originally painted in a non-factory Llandudno Blue.
It was exported to the UK in 1989 and restored by Portman Lamborghini, finishing in July 1991 in its current Giallo Fly with a black interior. It won a trophy at the Christie's Historic Weekend Concours that year. Toby Smith of Jamiroquai owned it from 1997, and the present keeper has had it since 2001, later establishing that it was the car he had once seen in a Johannesburg showroom.
It shows 29,685 miles and has been used sparingly. Maintenance has come from Lamborghini main dealers and Carrera Sport, most recently in September 2025. The history file holds dozens of invoices, receipts, MOT certificates and bills of sale, plus the original leather wallet and owner's handbook.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Lamborghini factory claims: 375 PS DIN, 300 km/h. Only a dry weight was published, so weight is null; 0-60 is null because no confident factory figure exists.).
£999,990 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
