This 1956 XK140 is an MC Special Equipment open two-seater, the more powerful specification of Jaguar's post-war sports tourer. It has been converted from left- to right-hand drive and finished in Jaguar Pacific Blue over a tan interior.
The car has had a complete body-off restoration, done about five years ago for a business owner who wanted a fast tourer rather than a concours piece. The chassis was blasted and powder coated, with its components blasted and plated. The bodywork was taken back to bare metal. The engine has been rebuilt, the wiring is new and the radiator has been re-cored.
The modifications are aimed at usability. They include front disc brakes, power steering, a Guy Broad five-speed gearbox, an electric fan and a stainless exhaust. Inside are bucket seats and a new mohair hood and tonneau in matching blue. The chrome has been re-plated or replaced, and the spoked wheels are painted in body colour.
The page gives 6,431 miles since the restoration, at just over 1,000 miles a year, but no total odometer reading. The registration, WAF560, is to be retained by the current owner. The listing shows the price as accepted.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory rating of 210 bhp (gross) for the C-type-head 3.4 XK engine. Period performance and weight figures came from magazine road tests, not Jaguar, so they are left null.).
£145,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
