Listed today at The Real Car Co, Bethesda. Last checked today.
This 1955 XK140 is a right-hand-drive drophead coupe, a rarer body style than the roadster for the UK market, and it was supplied new by the Woodcote Motor Co of Epsom. The dealer describes it as a largely undisturbed survivor, with an original tan leather interior, disc wheels and spats, and paint that shows its age.
The ownership history is short. One keeper had the car from 1974 to 2015, and there has been one since. The dealer says it covered only about 6,000 miles in those fifty years, though the page gives no odometer reading.
Recent work includes a new stainless exhaust, a new clutch and a complete re-wire. A Jaguar Heritage certificate confirms the original specification and colour scheme, and a file of invoices covers recent parts expenditure. The chassis number is 807260. The price has been reduced from £85,000 to £75,000.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory rating for the standard 3.4-litre XK six: 190 bhp gross at 5,500 rpm (the SE/C-type head versions were rated 210 bhp). The factory's weight and performance figures aren't verified, so they are null; most published figures come from period road tests.).
£75,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
