This right-hand-drive 1956 Jaguar XK140 fixed head coupé has been taken well beyond standard. It has had a bare chassis, body-off restoration, followed by a set of changes aimed at making an 1950s sports car easier to use: front disc brakes, a five-speed gearbox and a Kenlowe fan for cooling in hot weather. The engine was fully rebuilt by Guy Broad to C-type specification, including 9:1 pistons, and has covered fewer than 1,000 miles since. The dealer says the work is documented with bills and photographs, and there is a large history file along with a photographic record of the restoration. The car took part in the VSCC Pomeroy Trophy at Silverstone in February 2019. Its Haggerty agreed value is quoted at £95,000. The car is finished in metallic green, with pale green leather bucket-style seats, matching carpets and refinished burr walnut trim. A Mota-Lita steering wheel, a rear luggage rack and painted wire wheels on new tyres complete the specification.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory specification for standard 3.4-litre XK engine (190 bhp gross; SE/C-type head versions 210 bhp). Weight and performance figures came from period road tests rather than Jaguar, so they are left null.).
£79,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
