This XK120 open two-seater is a UK home-market, matching-numbers car, supplied new through Rossleigh in Scotland and first registered on 1 March 1951. A 'Green' continuation logbook places it with a Mr Robertson near Peebles in 1961, and it later passed to a Manchester barrister who kept it from 1986 for 37 years.
It was bought after a 1980s restoration and has covered fewer than 5,000 miles in that ownership. Work in 1989 included replacement rear crank seals, re-chromed bumpers, a new hood and sidescreens. In 1991 the cylinder head was rebuilt with new valve guides and re-cut seats. Paradise Garage in Cheshire then maintained the car from 1999, with around 20 years of invoices on file.
The dealer describes the older restoration as usable rather than show standard, with a straight body, a structurally sound chassis and light green upholstery. It comes with the original steering wheel and gear knob, the handbook, MOTs back to 1988, a Jaguar Heritage certificate and the continuation logbook.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's period factory figures: 160 bhp (gross), 3,442cc XK twin-cam straight-six with twin SU carbs, and the 120 mph top speed the car is named after. No reliable factory kerb weight or 0-60 time was published, so those are null.).
