This 1950 XK120 open two-seater (OTS) carries real competition history. Chassis 660294 was supplied new to Jersey, where owner Bob Sangan took a class win at the Bouley Bay hill-climb in 1951. The following year Frank Le Gallais drove it in the Jersey International Road Race, finishing eighth in the large-capacity sports car class. It returned to the UK in 1957 and has worn the registration GEF 120 since 1974.
CKL Developments, the Jaguar racing specialists, restored it after its 2020 purchase, with a bare-chassis rebuild and a full bare-metal respray. It is finished in original Cream with period race numbers, aero screens and steel wheels, following archive photographs of its Jersey racing days. The original engine has been rebuilt to CKL's Fast Road competition specification and keeps its early sandcast SU carburettors. It is paired with a five-speed synchromesh gearbox, and the original gearbox is included. Other changes include Alfin brake drums, uprated suspension bushings and competition bucket seats.
The car is matching numbers and comes with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate. It is described as a strong candidate for FIVA registration, which would support entry to historic events. The dealer can also arrange an entry and support package for the 2027 Mille Miglia centenary. Price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar period factory figures for the 3.4-litre XK engine (160 bhp, 120 mph claim); weight and 0-60 omitted as no confident factory figure is available).
