An early-production XK120 open two-seater, built in 1951 and sold new for export to New York before returning to the UK in 1988. It is an original right-hand-drive car with matching numbers, and the Jaguar Heritage Certificate backs up that history.
The 3.4-litre engine was rebuilt by Sigma Engineering about ten years and 12,000 miles ago. Upgrades include a 12-volt alternator conversion, a Kenlowe cooling fan and electronic ignition, plus new Pirelli Cinturato tyres. A significant maintenance file records annual servicing by XK specialists.
Restored in the 1980s, it is described as rust free and pleasingly worn rather than polished. It has toured the UK and Europe and been used on rallies. It comes from 32 years of family ownership, with a tonneau cover and the original roof, which is not fitted. The car is UK registered and currently in the Isle of Man.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's period factory figures: 160 bhp (gross), 3,442cc XK twin-cam straight-six with twin SU carbs, and the 120 mph top speed the car is named after. No reliable factory kerb weight or 0-60 time was published, so those are null.).
