This is one of just 25 D-Type Continuations built by Jaguar Classic at its Classic Works facility in Warwickshire, finishing the run that stopped at 75 cars after the 1957 Browns Lane fire. Each was built to the original drawings, with buyers choosing between Short Nose customer and Long Nose Works specification. This car is a Long Nose, identifiable by its extended bonnet and the tail fin behind the driver.
Power comes from a 3.4-litre wide-angle-head XK straight-six producing 320 bhp. The car is finished in Ecurie Ecosse-style Scottish Racing Blue with white roundels and an Aged Tan leather cockpit.
It has stayed with its original owner since new and has never been used, showing 0 miles. It is a right-hand-drive car, road legal and currently registered in Guernsey, and is offered net of taxes.
