This is chassis 670061, the 61st of the early aluminium-bodied XK120 roadsters, and one of 184 built in left-hand drive. Alloy-bodied cars are the rarest and most sought-after of the XK120 family, and this one carries matching numbers.
It spent most of its life in the USA, including a long spell in a San Diego collection, where it was driven on the Colorado Grand and the California Mille. It was later converted to right-hand drive and refinished in silver with blue leather. It was inspected by JCNA judges at the 2007 San Diego Concours and judged correct and authentic. It came to the UK in November 2014, after passing through a 2013 auction in the USA, and the current owner bought it in 2016.
The page lists a Jaguar Heritage certificate, the original tool set, full disc wheel covers and rear spats. The car has been restored to a high standard and runs on radial tyres. The odometer reads 4,662 miles. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's period factory claims: 160 bhp from the 3442cc XK twin-cam straight-six, and 120 mph, which gave the car its name. Weight and 0-60 left null because the figures that circulate come from magazine road tests, not Jaguar. Roughly 240 alloy cars were built, but that was never an announced limited run, so units is null.).
