Listed today at Drew Wheeler.
This is a Suffolk Sportscars recreation of the pre-war Jaguar SS100, the two-seater that gave Jaguar its early performance reputation. Only 314 originals were built between 1936 and 1939. Suffolk's replica used GRP moulds taken from a genuine car, so the proportions stay close to the original.
The car was built in-house by Suffolk and is powered by a fully rebuilt 4.2-litre XK engine. It uses a manual gearbox with overdrive, independent suspension and disc brakes made to look like period drums. After its IVA inspection it was registered as an historic vehicle under the make "Suffolk SS100".
It is finished in British Racing Green with green leather and Wilton carpets, and rides on black-painted 72-spoke wheels. The specification includes aero screens, a fold-flat windscreen and a mohair hood, tonneau and hood cover. It has covered 3,900 miles with three owners, and comes with a history file including the original Suffolk build schedule. The listing is marked as sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Suffolk Sportscars SS100 replica built on Jaguar XJ donor (XK straight-six); 1971 is likely the donor year. No published factory figures, and specs vary by donor engine, so performance figures are null.).
