Listed today at Vintage & Prestige, Northampton. Last checked today.
The SS100 is the car that made Jaguar's name before the company took it. This 1939 example has the larger 3.5-litre engine, fitted to only 116 cars according to the dealer, which makes it the rarer and stronger of the two SS100 engine options.
It is finished in British Racing Green with a beige leather interior, on green anodised wire wheels with new Blockley tyres. The page describes a full restoration and many years in a private collection, where an in-house mechanic maintained it. The only stated departure from original specification is a set of easily removable modern seat belts.
The car carries the UK registration 403XUH and chassis number 59056. No mileage is given. Viewing is by appointment near Belfast in Northern Ireland.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (SS Cars Ltd period specification (125 bhp, 3485 cc OHV straight-six); no reliable factory weight, top speed or 0-60 figures, so these are null).
£400,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
