Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster

This 1973 Series III E-Type Roadster is a matching-numbers, UK-supplied car with a recorded 12,400 miles. It is finished in Primrose Yellow with a black hood and black leather, and has the V12 engine with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Its mileage comes from unusually light use. It was first registered in September 1973 and had covered about 10,000 miles when it passed to its second owner in 1977. He kept it for around four decades, and it added only about 1,500 miles in that time. The paint is believed to be original, and the underside was Ziebart-treated in the 1970s. The seats and wiring loom are described as original.

The current owner has spent roughly £20,000–£30,000 recommissioning it. The work covered replacement manifolds, the cooling system, clutch and brakes, and it involved no cosmetic restoration. The history file includes the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, handbooks, both keys, old MoT certificates, the original advert and bill of sale, and photographs of the recommissioning.
