This is a Series III E-Type roadster with the 5.3-litre V12 and automatic gearbox, the most relaxed and touring-focused of the E-Types. It was first registered in the UK on 24 November 1972, finished in White with a black interior, and supplied new through Henleys in London.
In the mid-2010s the car had a body restoration in Glasgow, followed by a full interior retrim by Suffolk & Turley that cost close to £10,000. A 15-inch Mota-Lita steering wheel is fitted. In 2018 it received a new radiator and a conversion to a spin-on oil filter.
The dealer reports a smooth drive with no suspension knocks or rattles and clean gear changes and kickdown. The car's original registration is not stated, and the private plate it currently wears is not included in the sale. No mileage is given on the page.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar 1971 launch figures (272 bhp is a period gross rating at 5,850 rpm; 5.3-litre V12). Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the widely quoted numbers come from magazine road tests, not Jaguar.).
