This is a Series 2 E-Type 2+2, the longer-wheelbase version with room for rear passengers, finished in Opalescent Silver Blue over a Biscuit interior. It is a right-hand-drive UK car with matching numbers and a Jaguar Trace certificate, and it has been rebuilt by the selling dealer rather than simply refreshed.
The work began with a bare monocoque, which was repainted with the inner panels replaced as needed. The brightwork was re-chromed or renewed, the wiring loom is new and the dials have been rebuilt. The 4.2-litre XK engine has been built to fast-road specification with a gas-flowed head and polished cam covers. It keeps its triple SU carburettors, and an aluminium radiator and electric fans now handle the cooling.
It departs from standard in several ways: a five-speed gearbox conversion, Fosseway braking upgrade, accelerator upgrade and chrome wire wheels. The page quotes 500 miles, and a full photographic record of the rebuild is on file.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's period UK figure: 265 bhp (gross) from the 4,235 cc XK six with triple SU carburettors. US cars with Stromberg carburettors were rated lower. Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the widely quoted numbers come from road tests, not Jaguar.).
£84,950 since it was listed on 7 November 2026. No changes yet.
