Listed today at The Supercar Rooms, Hartlebury. Last checked today.
This is a 1966 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 fixed head coupe with the 4.2-litre straight-six and four-speed manual gearbox. The 4.2 brought a stronger torque curve and a more usable gearbox than the earlier 3.8, and the closed coupe remains one of the most recognisable shapes of the era.
The car has had only two keepers from new. The first owner bought it in January 1966 and kept it until 2002. It is finished in Primrose Yellow over green leather and carpets, with a sand hood, wire wheels and a Moto-Lita wooden steering wheel.
It has recently had a major service, a cam cover replacement, a carburettor rebuild and new brake calipers. It shows 92,672 miles.
