The Series 1.5 is a transitional E-Type, combining the open headlamps and early looks of the Series 1 with some of the mechanical changes that came with the Series 2. This right-hand-drive 4.2-litre roadster was built in July 1968 and is described as one of the last of only 319 produced in that configuration.
It is finished in Carmen Red with a black leather interior and retains its matching-numbers XK engine, confirmed by a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate. It has a four-speed manual gearbox and wire wheels. Upgrades include Cooper Craft four-pot front brake calipers, electronic ignition, a power steering retrofit, a new clutch and a new mohair hood.
A refurbishment began in 2017 and was completed in summer 2018, with a photographic record in the history file. The file also holds invoices dating back to 1969 and the original green logbook. The car shows 53,600 miles and has had seven previous owners.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory 4.2-litre XK engine figures (265 bhp gross, UK triple-SU spec). Weight, top speed and 0-60 omitted because no confirmed factory figures exist for this variant and year. Series 1.5 build ended in late 1968, so the stated 1969 model year is unusual.).
£129,975 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
