This 1966 Series 1 E-Type Coupe is one of just 1,473 right-hand-drive 4.2 Coupes built. It was first registered in April 1966, and the two-volume history file still includes the original green logbook issued then.
Eagle acquired the car in 2012 and has maintained it since. It has been developed for touring rather than kept original. It has a five-speed gearbox, an aluminium radiator system, four-pot front brake calipers with vented discs, Reiger dampers and Eagle's own air conditioning. Other changes include a stainless exhaust, electronic ignition, an electronic fuel pump, halogen headlamps and a Jaguar Classic infotainment system.
The car is finished in Opalescent Dark Blue over red leather, following a bare-metal repaint and full retrim in 2011. It shows 49,959 miles. It is currently right-hand drive, and the dealer says it can be converted to left-hand drive.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory specification for the 4.2 Series 1 (265 bhp gross at 5,400 rpm, 4,235 cc XK straight-six with triple SU carburettors); weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the commonly quoted figures come from period road tests, not confirmed factory data).
£295,000 since it was listed on 7 November 2026. No changes yet.
