This 1962 Series 1 E-Type 3.8 Fixed Head Coupé is a right-hand-drive car that has been turned into a full FIA Appendix K racer while staying road registered. It was supplied new to Singapore in Cream with a red interior, returned to the UK around 2000 and kept its XJI 787 registration. The current owner bought it in 2017.
Valley Motorsport of Shropshire carried out the conversion. The car is now in Old English White with a black competition interior. It raced from 2020, winning the Norman Dewis Trophy at Castle Combe from pole with Alex Buncombe. It took a class win at the 2021 Silverstone Classic and then went to the Goodwood Revival, where Buncombe shared it with Jenson Button. They finished seventh overall in the Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy, third among the E-Types.
It has a current FIA Historic Technical Passport, valid until 2030, and its 3,868cc XK engine is certified to Motorsport UK regulations. The fire extinguisher and seat belts were serviced in 2026. CKL Developments has maintained it since Goodwood. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory spec: 3781cc XK straight-six, 265 bhp gross at 5500 rpm. The well-known 150 mph and 0-60 times come from period magazine road tests, not Jaguar, so they are left out; no confident factory kerb weight was found.).
£159,900 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
