Listed today at Legends Automotive, Farmington.
This is a C-Type in the Sayer specification, built by M and C Wilkinson and completed in 2017. It is a continuation-style recreation of Jaguar's 1953 Le Mans-winning sports racer rather than an original 1950s car, finished in French Blue.
The engine is a 3.4-litre straight-six with a C-Type head and sand-cast carburettors, built by Sigma and making around 270 bhp. It is paired with a race-specification Moss gearbox and rear axle, and drum brakes as on the original. Other period details include an alloy race fuel tank, while a detachable FIA safety hoop and a stainless competition exhaust suit it to events.
The car has covered about 500 miles since completion, all of them break-in and development running. It holds FIA HTP papers valid through 2028 and is road registered with a V5 document. It is UK and EU duty paid. The listing is marked as sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine and layout from Jaguar's published C-Type (XK 3.4-litre) specs. 'FIA' variant is ambiguous (original 1953 works car or Jaguar Classic FIA-spec continuation), so performance figures are left null.).
