The Country Squire was the top of Ford's 1968 full-size wagon range, and this left-hand-drive example has the 390 cubic inch (6.4-litre) big-block V8 and seating for seven. It is the same engine Ford fitted to the Mustang GT390 that Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt, and the same model of wagon McQueen used in The Getaway.
The car is finished in Highland Green with its original dark green vinyl interior. Equipment includes power windows, seats and steering, air conditioning, winding quarter windows, a power rear window and the original radio. The wagon also has Ford's two-way "Magic Doorgate" tailgate, which opens to the side or folds down flat, and the concealed headlights that were standard on the Squire for 1968.
The dealer says it has owned the car for about a decade and describes it as reliable throughout that time. The page gives no mileage, registration or price, which is listed as POA.
